Morning Announcements - October 30

 

We acknowledge that we are in Mi'kma'ki, which is the traditional ancestral territory of the Mi'kmaq people.

Remembrance Day ceremony- There will be a brief meeting today at the beginning of lunch in Mr. Carter’s room for any cadets interested in participating in the ceremony.


Boys volleyball practice today after school from 3:30-4:30.


There is a bake sale today at the 11:50 lunch bell to support Feed Nova Scotia. Items will cost 1$ or a food donation.


The  “We Scare Hunger” food drive is on! It will run from  Oct. 28 until Nov. 5.  Ms. Campbells says that her class will definitely bring in more items than Mr. Carter’s class. Let’s see if she is correct!

 

We are holding a contest for students in Grade 8 to win an opportunity to see, "A conversation with Barack Obama" on November 13th. Our contest is open until Tuesday November 5th. Please see the "News" section of our school website for more details.
